Winterships

Winter is usually the season nobody markets. We wanted to flip that completely.

The idea behind Winterships was simple but sharp: instead of just telling people what to do in Tasmania during winter, we gave a select few the chance to actually live it. We called it an “internship,” because that's exactly the shape it took — a week fully immersed, working alongside local contractors and experts, learning how they do what they do, all expenses paid, positions extremely limited.

Except the “job” was experiencing everything winter in Tasmania has to offer, and nowhere else. We took our interns to a Tasmanian devil sanctuary, into wood-fired saunas built for the cold, off-grid cabins with no internet where disconnecting becomes the whole point, and out onto mountain bike trails carved straight through the winter landscape.

The message was simple: this isn't a season to get through. It's a season worth applying for. Winterships turned that idea into something people didn't just watch — they wanted in.
